Anybody can sit and read and memorize geological terms in a classroom. But not in haMorah Beth’s class! It’s much more fun to go outside, set up a relay race, and memorize terms that way! From hills to mountains, to passes and valleys, students worked in teams to define each term and find matching drawings for each. This lesson involved getting up, moving around, cooperative learning, and of course, science. When all was said and done, each student could name and define each term, which was the objective for the day! With that objective completed, there will be something even more exciting in store for tomorrow!
