Volunteers provide countless hours in support of SJCS students, programs, and growth. Our volunteers are parents, grandparents, alumni, educators, and community members. Opportunities are boundless and include school-wide events, field trips, and governance, to name just a few.
SJCS is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees comprised of parents and community members. Trustees are charged with fiduciary responsibility and financial oversight, Head of School hiring and support, strategic planning, and policy making. The Parent Association (PA) aims to build a warm and supportive community for SJCS children and their families. Collectively, PA members serve as goodwill ambassadors for the school, helping to coordinate volunteer resources and plan many events throughout the year for students, parents, staff and families. The PA meets monthly. All SJCS parents are welcome to attend meetings and find out how they can contribute their unique talents to the school
