Applying to SJCS

SJCS accepts applications for admissions and financial assistance year round.  If you have any questions about applying to SJCS, please contact Leah Gotz, Admissions Manager or call 206.522.5212 x 300. Applying to SJCS

Seattle Jewish Community School (SJCS) uses Ravenna ADMIT for the submission of online applications. The SJCS application process is designed to be as simple as possible.

Apply Online

Once you have created your account, you will be able to complete the core application shared by many Seattle-area schools, as well as the SJCS parent questionnaire. Ravenna ADMIT also enables parents to electronically submit teacher evaluations to your child’s current teacher and request grades from their current school, if applicable. Upon creating your account, you will be able to log in and complete your application.

Kindergarten Application Checklist

Children who turn five by September 15, 2017 are eligible for Kindergarten in 2017. (However, early admittance to children who turn five after September 15th is at the discretion of the faculty and administration.)

Grades 1–5 Application Checklist

  • Schedule a School-Day Parent Tour or schedule an Informational Meeting with Leah Gotz, Admissions Manager.
  • Complete and submit the 2017-18 Application and Common Teacher Evaluation Form via Ravenna ADMIT.
  • Submit grades from your student’s current school for 2016-2017 school year when available.
  • If applicable, submit a Tuition Assistance Application
  • If your child is offered admission, you must return your signed contract and non-refundable tuition deposit by 10 days from receiving the offer of admission to guarantee placement.
