Applying to Seattle Jewish Community School

Seattle Jewish Community School (SJCS) uses Ravenna ADMIT (https://www.ravenna-hub.com/) for the submission of online applications. Once you have created your account, you will be able to complete the core application shared by many Seattle-area schools, as well as the SJCS parent comments form. Ravenna ADMIT also enables parents to electronically send teacher evaluation forms to your child’s current school, for their teacher to complete and submit.  Your Ravenna ADMIT account enables you to login and complete your application at your convenience.

Kindergarten Application Checklist

Schedule a School-Day Parent Tour with Admissions Manager, Leah Gotz

Complete and submit the 2018-19 Application,  including the Parent Comments, Teacher Evaluation form and $75 application fee via Ravenna ADMIT by January 14, 2018*.

Submit a Tuition Assistance Application, to be considered for financial assistance by January 22, 2018*.

Attend the Gan Visit and Assessment with your student on February 25, 2018, 10:00 am—12:00 pm.

Contract offers are mailed on March 8, 2018.

If your child is offered admission, you must return your signed contract and non-refundable tuition deposit by March 19, 2018 to guarantee placement.

Children who turn five by September 15, 2018 are eligible for kindergarten in 2018. Families with children who turn five after September 15, 2018 are asked to contact Admissions Manager, Leah Gotz, lgotz@sjcs.net to discuss the application process for their children.
